I have been passionate about food and cooking ever since I was little. I would spend hours playing with my pretend play food set, experimenting with ingredients found from the garden. As I got older and became more aware of the impact of animal agriculture on the environment, our health and animal welfare, I wanted to use my passion and knowledge for food and cooking to make a difference. I wondered “what if we could make meat directly from plants, and skip the animal?”
So I set out on a mission to do just that. To make a burger from plants so delicious, meaty and satisfying that it would delight meat eaters and vegans alike. But it was no easy task so my husband got on board. Together, we spent two years researching, developing and testing our plant-based burger. After spending countless hours in the kitchen testing over a hundred recipes (and eating lots of burgers along the way), we are proud to bring you the Grainraised Burger.
